A LITTLE MORE ABOUT ME
As a Yoga Instructor serving all individuals including the LGBTQIA+, CD, Transgender & gender nonconforming community, my main goal is to create a safe, inclusive and welcoming environment. I believe the practice of yoga can help everyone feel more comfortable and connected to their body.

I completed the 200 RYT at West Hartford Yoga in 2014 and 500 RYT at Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health in 2023. I have additional studies and certifications in Meditation, Restorative Yoga, Pranayama and Yin yoga. I have been blessed to study with amazing teachers Yoganand Michael Carroll, Sudha Carolyn Lundeen, Jurian Hughes, and Shankara Newton

To better support the LGBTQIA+ community I have taken Safe Zone training and completed the Foundational Trauma Sensitive Yoga training from the Center for Trauma and Embodiment at JRI.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Because you want to know
I'M NOT FLEXIBLE. CAN I STILL DO YOGA?
You don't need to touch your toes, stand on your head or bend over backwards. If you can move and breath at the same time, you have all the skills you need for yoga.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
Wear clothes that allow you to move freely. Layers are always a good idea. Cross dressers and Transgender folx, and, well.... everyone really, is encouraged to present as their most authentic selves.
WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?
The Omstead offers classes at a wide variety of local business. You can find the latest events here: Upcoming Events | The Omstead (theomsteadllc.com)
